Nespresso brings a fresh take on coffee culture to Covent Garden Piazza this April with The Recipe Remix. The six-day pop-up runs from 14 to 19 April and is free to attend.
The event celebrates the launch of the brand’s global Vertuo World campaign, fronted by Dua Lipa. It invites visitors to rethink their daily coffee routine through bold and unexpected flavours.
Experimental flavours take centre stage
The limited-edition menu pushes boundaries with playful combinations. Highlights include a Pickled Coffee Cola, which blends espresso with cola and pickle brine.
Visitors can also try the ‘Love It or Hate It’ Latte. This Marmite-infused coffee features avocado foam and comes with a slice of sourdough toast.
Each drink reflects a growing appetite for creative coffee. Nespresso research shows that 47% of Brits now experiment with their daily brew. A further 68% have changed their coffee habits in the past year.
Immersive moments and exclusive rewards
Guests can step into a series of interactive “Vertuo Worlds”, inspired by the campaign. These spaces offer photo opportunities, tastings, and hands-on moments.
A gamified station lets visitors win prizes, including coffee machines and accessories. Complimentary coffee is available throughout the experience.
Beyond the Piazza
The experience continues at the nearby Nespresso boutique. Here, visitors can try additional recipes such as a Salted Affogato with vanilla gelato, espresso, olive oil, and sea salt.
Nespresso will also roll out new recipes across UK boutiques. These include a Pineapple & Tajin Coffarita and a Rhubarb and Custard Crumbleccino. Each drink will feature in rotating tasting sessions through June.
All recipes use the new Vertuo Up machine, designed for quick and customisable brewing.
