Two teams down at the bottom of the Premier League table face off this afternoon at Molineux. While hosts Wolves have changed managers in a bid to survive the drop, appointing Julen Lopetegui, Hammers boss David Moyes is currently being trusted to do the job.
Wolves, though, are still winless in four and sit 19th, one point and two places worse off than the Hammers. They are are to improve their standing, they will need to work on their home form, which has seen a league-low of five goals.
Moyes will insist he isn’t on borrowed time but one point from the last 18 available would suggest otherwise. West Ham have not won away in the league since August, ending that run would give the boss a reprieve. Vladimir Coufal may return to the squad after missing the FA Cup win over Brentford, while Kurt Zouma could also feature.
Lukasz Fabianski will also continue in goal but if Coufal is still struggling with a knee problem, Thilo Kehrer could feature at right-back.
Wolves team news
Joao Moutinho, Daniel Podence and Diego Costa are all carrying knocks so are doubts for today’s game.
“At the moment, we don’t know what the squad list will be and we’ll have to think a little bit more about this,” said the Wolves boss. “We are going to make the decision in the next few hours and after this, of course, the line-up.”
