Lyon interested in Spence

Lyon are believed to be considering a move for Tottenham full-back Djed Spence.

The 22-year-old has played a total of five Premier League minutes since his summer arrival, struggling to make any sort of impression under Antonio Conte.

The Daily Mail report that Lyon would be keen on loaning Spence for the rest of the season if they lose Malo Guston this month.

Ivan Fresneda plays amid Arsenal links

It is worth noting, by the way, that Ivan Fresneda came on as a second-half substitute in LaLiga tonight.

Despite struggling Real Valladolid’s heavy 3-0 defeat away at Atletico Madrid, it seems the teenager gave another good account of himself with an accomplished display.

Might that have been his last game for the club owned by Brazilian icon Ronaldo?

A move to Arsenal appears to be calling very soon.

Ziyech pushing for Chelsea exit

Hakim Ziyech is reportedly looking to secure a move away from Chelsea.

The winger has made just four Premier League starts so far this season, and that is unlikely to improve after the signings of Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke.

Sport claim that Ziyech has offered himself to Barcelona, as he looks to find a club to take him away from Stamford Bridge.

Conte wants two key signings

Antonio Conte believes Tottenham are actually relatively close to competing, feeling two key transfers could help transform the side.

That’s according to journalist Graeme Bailey, with it claimed that the signings of Nicolo Zaniolo and Pedro Porro would likely convince the Italian to sign a new contract.

Discussions continue over a move for Porro, while Zaniolo is keen on a move away from Roma.

Man United with Pellistri decision

Valencia have made another attempt to sign Facundo Pellistri on loan.

The Manchester United winger is keen for more game-time and looks unlikely to get that, having featured for Uruguay at the World Cup. He only made his United debut this month.

The Daily Mail report that Valencia have made a second bid to take Pellistri to Spain for the rest of the season, but Erik ten Hag remains reluctant to let players leave in January.

Agent Gerrard eyes Bellingham…

Steven Gerrard has joked he is willing to fly out to Dortmund to help Liverpool sign Jude Bellingham.

The Reds are desperate to sign the England midfielder, though face stiff competition from Real Madrid this summer. Gerrard has offered to do his bit to help Liverpool win the race.

“Bellingham is an obvious [target],” he told BT Sport. ‘I’m a huge fan and Liverpool lack this running number eight who arrives in the box and gets you a goal. Bellingham ticks all those boxes.

“Though Liverpool have been mid-table this season, Jude is bright enough to know they reach finals, have one of the best managers in the world and develop players.

“All he needs to do is send me his diary, I’ll fly to Dortmund and take him out to dinner and bring him back.”
