Arsenal are set to be big players when the January transfer window opens in just over a week’s time. The long-running talks to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk continue with reports suggesting a £50million starting price has been set by the Gunners. Joao Felix has also been offered on loan for just £8m.
Enzo Fernandez is another player liked by Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and pretty much every big club in Europe. The Blues are considering launching a bid for Dusan Vlahovic while Declan Rice is again being touted for a big-money switch to Stamford Bridge, which will soon be called home by David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos and Christopher Nkunku.

Arsenal set to lose Fernandez race
Manchester United are ready to gazump Arsenal and Chelsea to sign Enzo Fernandez.
The Argentine World Cup winner is set for a big-money exit from Benfica, who want £105m and have reportedly rejected an £86m bid from an unnamed club.
UOL Esporte say United want to meet Fernandez’s price tag and potentially pay even more to guarantee his signature.
Arsenal name Mudryk price
Arsenal are willing to start talks over Mykhaylo Mudryk at £50million.
That is according to transfer journalist Dean Jones, who claims the Gunners are prepared to start far below Mudryk’s valuation in negotiations with Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Ukrainian club want £86m for the 21-year-old winger and a resolution is expected to be somewhere in the middle, depending on who comes out on top in the talks.
Joao Felix offered to Arsenal
A fee of just £8million will be enough to sign Joao Felix in January – on loan.
Transfer journalist Duncan Castles reports on a deal being put to the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United that would not involve an obligation to buy the Atletico Madrid forward.
For the Gunners, that could prove an ideal resolution to Gabriel Jesus’ injury.
They would, however, have to pay his wages in full which are estimated to be in the region of £250,000-a-week.
Chelsea enter Vlahovic battle
Dusan Vlahovic’s groin injury has not put off Chelsea and Arsenal, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Manchester United, PSG and Bayern Munich are also tracking a player who Juventus would prefer not to sell.
However, a summer deal or maybe even a January switch is on the cards.

Graeme Souness has backed Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister for a move to one of the Premier League’s leading teams amid reported interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Despite the fact the Gunners hold an interest in the Belgian midfielder, Tielemans remains at Leicester in a relative contract limbo. Able to walk away for free in the summer, Arsenal could reportedly make a move then.
CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs says: “Arsenal very much appreciate Tielemans. A move still can’t be ruled out. And Tielemans remains sold on a move should they proceed. Long-standing personal terms are in place.”

Chelsea set huge Josko Gvardiol asking price
Chelsea have long been interested in the signing of RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.
The Blues were keen in the summer and has only seen the centre-back’s stock rise following a successful World Cup with Croatia.
Still, Fabrizio Romano has revealed the club would have to make the 20-year-old the most expensive defender in history.
Romano told GiveMeSport: “Now, Leipzig want way more than €90million. They hope to go for more than €100million to make Gvardiol the most expensive centre-back ever.
“Chelsea are still working on it. They are still in contact with people close to the player and Leipzig.”
