British fashion journalist and bestselling author Teo van den Broeke has been announced as Editor-in-Chief of men’s publication Esquire UK.

Renowned for his expertise in men’s fashion, grooming, and style, Teo previously served as Style Director for both Esquire and British GQ before joining Soho House in 2022 as Global Editorial Director where he helped develop and execute the brand’s worldwide content strategy.

In February 2022, van den Broeke published his memoir The Closet, which delves into his personal journey and experiences within the fashion industry.

Beyond his editorial roles, he is an award-winning podcaster and a sought-after public speaker, often sharing insights on contemporary fashion trends.

Broeke commented: “I started reading Esquire in my teenage years, and I began my journalistic career with the brand in 2010. Returning now as Editor-in-Chief means a great deal to me. I’m proud to rejoin at such an exciting moment in Esquire’s evolution and look forward to collaborating with the talented team to shape the brand’s bright future.”

Van den Broeke begins work in the new role at Esquire UK on April 22nd.
