British actor Nicholas Galitzine has been named as an ambassador for Fendi – becoming the brand’s first ever global menswear ambassador.
In his new role, Galitzine will front the fashion house’s inaugural men’s advertising campaign, further cementing his bond with the Italian brand following his appearance at both Fendi’s Baguette 25th anniversary show in New York last September and its men’s fall 2023 runway show earlier this year.
Shot on location in NYC by Italian artist Nico Vascellari, Nicholas wears key looks and accessories from the collection designed by Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, Silvia Venturini Fendi – most notably, a statement grey poncho embellished with the O’Lock zipper detail and an oversized “lived-in” leather jacket, as well as the brand’s signature Baguette-style bag rendered in black leather.
Speaking to WWD, the Purple Hearts star said, “The campaign was a lot of fun. I came straight from the show where disco was the theme, and that vibe continued into the shoot. Working with Silvia Venturini Fendi and the incredible team, we set out to mirror the effortless cool and elegance of the clothes in the campaign.”
