Facial recognition to be rolled out nationwide in major police reforms

Laying out the Police Reform White Paper, Ms Mahmood further revealed that more tech experts will work within police forces to tackle fraudsters, criminal networks on the dark web and identify criminal hotspots, and that AI will be deployed to rapidly analyse footage, detect deep fakes, and speed up administrative tasks.
