The sixth edition of Pop-Up Crisis, the annual designer shop and charity fundraiser, has opened on Savile Row with a new 1980s-inspired concept created by global strategy and design studio Dalziel & Pow.


A Retro TV Studio on Savile Row

Hosted by The Pollen Estate at 18–19 Savile Row, the event returns with an immersive design influenced by classic 80s broadcasting. Dalziel & Pow has transformed the space into a series of TV-themed rooms, complete with retro signage, props, cameras and lighting rigs. Visitors move through different “studio” zones, each shaped by the look and feel of iconic shows from the decade.

This year’s theme builds on last year’s popular “Pop-Up Crisis TV” social content. The reimagined “Pop-Up Crisis TV Studios” concept introduces playful set pieces and staged “on-air” moments to create a nostalgic but fresh experience.


Celebrity Donations and Curated Edits

Running from 8–13 December, the pop-up features donated items from leading fashion brands, tailors and well-known supporters. Contributors include Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Naomie Harris, David Gandy, Jarvis Cocker, Louis Partridge, Jamie Redknapp and Emma Corrin. Their curated edits are available in-store and online. Watches of Switzerland Group and other partners have also supported the event.

The main retail room showcases celebrity pieces with dressing-room plaques. A studio sign referencing Treasure Hunt hints at the “hidden gems” inside. The “Crisis Re-generation Game”, inspired by The Generation Game, highlights how Crisis gives pre-loved clothing a new purpose.


80s References Throughout the Space

Dalziel & Pow drew inspiration from classic TV canteens, green rooms and entertainment shows to create a warm, communal setting. Hidden references to Grange Hill, Ceefax and other 80s staples appear in signage, costume elements and product displays.

Music throughout the week comes from DJs including Geronimo and friends, Princess Julia, Bestley, T Priestly, Jonjo and Josh Quinton. A broadcast-style test-card photo backdrop has also been created for social media.


Raffle Prizes and Tailoring Support

High-value fashion items will be offered through a fundraising raffle, with tickets priced at £10. Prizes include a Bvlgari watch from Louis Partridge and a Balenciaga bag from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Savile Row tailors and designers, including Stephen Jones, Peter Ackroyd MBE, Walid al Damirji (By Walid) and Rob Charnock (Dugdale Brothers), are contributing cloth and trimmings. These items are especially popular during Apprentice and Student Night on Thursday 11 December.


Crisis on the Importance of the Event

Kim Collins, Head of Retail & eCommerce at Crisis, said the event remains vital for fundraising during the winter months. She praised Dalziel & Pow for bringing “a whole new energy” to this year’s concept.

Anda Rowland, Director at Anderson & Sheppard and founder of Pop-Up Crisis, said the refreshed design offers “a playful, engaging experience” that will help draw visitors to Savile Row and increase support for Crisis this season.
