Couverture & The Garbstore is marking a major milestone this September as the Notting Hill boutique celebrates 25 years in business. To honour the occasion, the store has launched a series of limited-edition collaborations with some of its most loved designers and creative partners, including Renata Brenha, Donna Wilson, Sideline, Laite Works, Himalayan Cashmere and Karakoram.


25 Years of Independent Design in Notting Hill

Founded in 1999 by Emily Dyson-Paley, Couverture began on King’s Road, Chelsea, offering hand-embroidered bed linen and pyjamas. In 2008, the store relocated to Notting Hill, where Dyson-Paley and her husband Ian Paley, founder of The Garbstore, established one of London’s most respected independent multi-brand boutiques.

Dyson-Paley’s vision remains unchanged: “To create a calm space where customers feel at ease, with an emphasis on handmade items and independent design.”
