CAT Footwear and British fashion designer Nigel Cabourn have teamed up once again.
The new collection features two new styles in two colourways. Inspired by the earthmoving equipment of Caterpillar Inc., the new shoes are designed to protect against the elements.
Nigel Cabourn’s technical apparel has taken direct inspiration from a multitude of expeditions across the globe, creating perfect conditions for clothing that withstands all manner of extremes.
Practical durability, functionality and utility are at the core of CAT footwear and Nigel Cabourn’s designs.
CAT footwear is the official footwear licensee of Caterpillar, launched in 1994. The new collab presents two pairs of shoes: the Utah Zip and the Omaha Lace.
The Utah Zip is a reinvention of last year’s Utah style and combines sketches from Nigel Cabourn with archetypal CAT features.
The zip-up conceals drawcord lacing underneath and the shoe has a protective steel toe. It comes in two colourways: Black Olive and Bison.
The Omaha Lace is inspired by Nigel Cabourn’s iconic Expedition Parkas. The lacing spans the entire instep, crisscrossing back and forth, feeding through webbing loops before tying around the boot cuff.
It comes in two colourways, an all-out Black, and a multi-toned Olive.
