Arsenal continue their Premier League title charge on Wednesday night, facing Brighton on the south coast.
A midweek match against Brighton could prove a banana skin, though. The Seagulls seem to be back to form after a grim run saw them go winless in six between January and February.
Back-to-back defeats of Brighton and Nottingham Forest have left them eleventh in the table, and Fabian Hurzeler will hope his side can keep up thier positive run and give Mikel Arteta’s title hopefuls a stern test.

Brighton vs Arsenal is scheduled for a 7.30pm GMT kick-off on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
The match will take place at the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton.

Brighton vs Arsenal team news
His chief concern surrounds Declan Rice, who hobbled off midway through the second-half of the Chelsea match.
Speaking at full-time, Arteta said he would be assessed this week: “Declan has to be substituted so he’s going to have to get checked and see if he’s available for Wednesday, unfortunately.”
It remains to be seen whether he can be involved on the south coast.

Arteta also revealed that David Raya had been dealing with ‘niggles’ ahead of the Chelsea match, but he completed the full 90 minutes and should be fine to face Brighton.
There is concern, too, for Martin Odegaard, who was left out of the squad to face Chelsea with a knee injury, the severity of which is not yet known.
“We decided not to risk him,” said Arteta, asked about his captain’s whereabouts on Sunday. As with Rice, it is not yet clear whether he can feature against Brighton.
Ben White was also absent from the squad to face Chelsea as he recovers from a knock, and he may return midweek.

Mikel Merino is continuing his recovery from foot surgery and will miss out, while Max Dowman is not expected to feature as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
Brighton, meanwhile, have few injury concerns. Adam Webster and Stefanos Tzimas will miss the match with serious knee injuries expected to leave both sidelined through the end of the campaign.
Elsewhere, Yasin Ayari is pushing to return from his shoulder injury ahead of the Gunners’ visit. He has returned to first-team training and Fabian Hurzeler was hopeful he could feature against Nottingham Forest on Sunday, but the match came too soon for him to be involved.

While Brighton seem to have recovered from a dismal start to the year, they will have their work cut out for them if they are to beat Arsenal here.
The Gunners are in fine form as they push on in their title charge, and show no signs of slowing as they do so.
They will be high on confidence after coming through a chaotic derby meeting with Chelsea last time out, and will be keen to keep the good run going as they head south.
Injuries may threaten to slow their progress, but Arteta should have plenty of faith in his reserves.
