There are yellow warnings for snow, ice, rain and wind around the country, with air and rail services seriously affected.
All travellers are highly recommended to check their whole journey before setting off, with a high number of cancellations and reduced services.

A number of flights have been affected by severe wintry conditions, with dozens of flights, including to Paris and Amsterdam, cancelled so far this morning.
In total, there have been 69 cancellations so far – 34 flights leaving Heathrow, and 35 coming into the airport.
Luton Airport has had five cancellations – four departures and and one arrival.
Five arrivals have been cancelled at Gatwick today.
There have not yet been any cancellations at London Stansted or London City Airports.
Chiltern Railways are running a significantly reduced service, with just 50% of the normal timetable in place today.
Only one service per hour will operate in each direction between London Marylebone and Oxford, High Wycombe and Aylesbury.
London Northwestern Railway
London Northwestern Railway are advising that passengers do not travel until the afternoon.
There is a reduced service running between Birmingham New Street and London Euston, with trains are operating to an amended timetable.
