RIYADH — Al Nassr became the first team to touch down in Hong Kong on Thursday ahead of the 2025 Saudi Super Cup, which will feature four Saudi Pro League clubs — Al Ittihad, Al Nassr, Al Qadsiah, and Al Ahli — from August 19 to 24.
The Riyadh giants will face reigning league champions Al Ittihad in the semi-final on Tuesday at Hong Kong Stadium, the venue for all tournament matches.
Al Nassr’s journey to East Asia came after wrapping up their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Spanish side Almeria.
The squad returned to Riyadh for a single training session at Al-Awwal Park before boarding the flight to Hong Kong.
Under the guidance of new Portuguese head coach Jorge Jesus, Al Nassr enter the competition aiming to secure their first trophy of the new season.
The team has been bolstered by marquee summer signings, including forward João Félix and Spanish defender Iñigo Martínez, while Cristiano Ronaldo remains the focal point of the attack.
With a refreshed squad and a new tactical approach, the Saudi capital club will look to make a statement in Hong Kong as they chase early-season silverware and momentum heading into the Roshn Saudi League campaign.
