MAIUM have launched the final drop of its AW22 collection, Future Ground, which features the brands first kids’ outerwear capsule made from recycled PET.
Following the first launch of five new colours of the Poncho design, the second drop of body warmers, Southwestern hat and macs, the final drop features a detachable teddy cardigan (a multifunctional garment with sleeves that zip off into a gilet) paddle duffle and kids puffer.
In signature style, MAIUM apply signature zippers on the side of each garment to transform raincoats and the newly-launched Mac and Trench styles into ponchos, keeping riders and their bikes shielded from the rain.
The collection also features ponchos long and short body warmers, lightweight puffers, macs and kids ponchos. The original poncho, folds into its own built-in pouch, making it easy to “transport inside a bag and providing the perfect protection against the elements in the event of a sudden downpour”. It transforms into an even bigger poncho for use on a bike or scooter and is made from 77 recycled PET bottles (the kids’ version is made from 33 recycled PET bottles).
