Almost Home has released a new collection inspired by Coventry City’s iconic football kits from 1975. The collection was created in collaboration with heritage sports brand Admiral, the sportswear company that designed and manufactured Coventry’s kit and pioneered the replica football shirt industry.
Named ‘The Man in the Arena’, the new collab honours Admiral’s trailblazing spirit when designing the famous Coventry City kits from 1975 – the sky-blue home kit and the controversial brown away kit.
The collab sees Almost Home using Admiral’s iconic brown hues into the new collection of tracksuits, shorts, jackets, pullovers, and knitted cotton polos.

Luke Murphy, co-founder of Almost Home, said: “Admiral’s iconic status and pioneering spirit in sportswear make them the perfect partner. Together, we’ve designed a collection that not only pays homage to classic football style but also embodies the enduring appeal and craftsmanship that we value in every piece.
“Established in 1914, Admiral began as a producer of military uniforms before becoming a pioneer in sportswear in the 1970s, they were the first brand to put a logo on a football kit, manufacturing kits for top football clubs, including the England national team, Leeds United, Manchester United, and Coventry City. Today, Admiral combines tradition and innovation, and the integration of sportswear with lifestyle fashion further distinguished it as a trailblazer both on and off the pitch, with its retro-inspired kits continuing to resonate with new generations of fans.”
London-based brand Almost Home emphasises quality over fast fashion, creating essentials like white t-shirts and signature seasonal pieces. The brand ethos is to ‘buy good things and own them a long time’, which underscores its commitment to durability and a timeless style. This collaboration represents a fusion of historic British sportswear and contemporary fashion stirred by London’s dynamic culture.
This collection is available to buy now at Almost Home and Admiral.
