Which Premier League Footballers Can You Expect to See Modeling This Festive Season?

As the festive season approaches, the worlds of football and fashion continue to intertwine, with several football stars stepping into the limelight as models for high-end fashion brands. This trend has been ever present since the turn of the century, with former Manchester United superstar David Beckham modelling for brands such as Calvin Klein, with others following suit. Cristiano Ronaldo followed in Golden Balls’ footsteps, going so far as to even set up his own CR7 brand, as well as working with a plethora of other designers. 

Those two are now in the latter stages of their stint in the limelight. Becks is 49 years of age and splits his time between London and Miami, where he can watch his beloved MLS franchise Inter Miami in action. Meanwhile, Ronny is ten years younger and is currently tearing it up in Saudi Arabia at the ripe old age of 39. 

But while those two are modelling less than in previous years, a number of the beautiful game’s biggest stars have picked up the mantle. Here are three that you can expect to see on your screens throughout the festive period. 

Dominic Calvert-Lewin 

Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin is one of the main Premier League stars who have made substantial inroads into the fashion sector.  On the pitch, the striker has struggled, as has his Toffee teammates, with the latest Premier League relegation odds making the Merseysiders a 13/5 contender for the drop this term. 

For those that don’t know how to calculate odds, basically, if one were to put £50 on Everton to be relegated at the aforementioned odds, then they would receive £130 in winnings on top of their stake. Of course, the Blues would have to suffer relegation for the bet to win, and if it does exactly that, Calvert-Lewin might be looking for a way out of Merseyside as soon as possible. 

Luckily for him, the former Sheffield United hitman has a career path ready and waiting for him on the catwalk. Known for his eclectic and often boundary-pushing style, Calvert-Lewin became a fashion trailblazer when he appeared on the cover of Arena Homme + sporting a handbag and flared shorts. His willingness to challenge conventional norms has not only earned him praise but also established him as a significant figure in the conversation around male fashion and gender norms.

Declan Rice 

Current Arsenal and England midfielder Declan Rice made a striking debut in the fashion world by walking for menswear brand Labrum during London Fashion Week. The Gunners have been in decent form as he looks to bring the Premier League title back to North London for the first time in over two decades. They have come close in each of the last two seasons, ultimately finishing second to Pep Guasrdiola’s all-conquering Manchester City, but this season, things could be different. 

The recent show in which Rice shone was held at the iconic Emirates Stadium, the ground which the former West Ham skipper currently calls his home. The 25-year-old was a natural fit, aligning his athletic prowess with their brand ethos of innovation and style. He is known to be quite the character off the field and in the dressing room, and the high-end brand thought he would be a perfect ambassador. Ultimately, they were proven right.
