Arsenal have made Declan Rice their top transfer target. It comes after another January transfer window battle with one of their biggest rivals as they face down Tottenham for Leandro Trossard. Having already been beaten by Chelsea to Mykhaylo Mudryk, the Gunners remain intent on landing a new attacker this month.

Dusan Vlahovic is also on their radar but Juventus want £89million for the Serbian striker. Another expensive option could be Barcelona winger Raphinha while teammate Ferran Torres has also been eyed by Mikel Arteta. Over the road in north London, Spurs continue to hold talks over a deal for Pedro Porro.

Chelsea also want to revamp their flanks with a potential sixth signing in Denzel Dumfries. Standard Sport understand a wing-back is a priority for Graham Potter’s side, plus a new midfielder and forward. Spurs have doubts over Conte

Tottenham’s desire for manager Antonio Conte to extend his contract his diminished, reports the Mail, further raising the likelihood of a departure.

Conte has repeatedly insisted Spurs must match his ambition, but senior figures at the club are querying that stance after just three of the previous nine Premier League matches.

Conte’s existing deal expires in the summer, though the club have the option of extending by 12 months. Former manager Mauricio Pochettino and ex-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel have been touted as possible successors.

Arsenal back in for Vlahovic

Talking of Arsenal, Dusan Vlahovic is back on their radar after missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk.

La Stampa claim the Juventus striker despite his recent injury issues with £89m required to convince the Turin side to sell up, having beaten the Gunners to Vlahovic a year ago.

Leandro Trossard, Ferran Torres and Raphinha are also interesting Arsenal.

Dortmund set Moukoko a deadline

Borussia Dortmund have told young star Youssoufa Moukoko that he has a week to commit to a new contract or the club will sell.

The 18-year-old’s current deal is up in the summer, and both Newcastle and Chelsea are interested. The Magpies have spoken to the player ahead of a free transfer in the summer.

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has confirmed the strker has been sent a “very attractive offer” and wanted an answer before Dortmund play Augsburg on Sunday.

Arsenal favourites to sign Rice

Arsenal are working on a deal to sign Declan Rice after moving ahead of both Manchester United and Man City in the race to sign the West Ham talisman.

Mikel Arteta’s Premier League leaders have long been admirers of the 24-year-old and made their interest first known during the World Cup in Qatar.

The Gunners have made Rice a major target for the summer and believe he can help take the club to the next level. Any deal is expected to cost between £80-100million, smashing the club’s transfer record.

Chelsea have been previously linked, but their interest is understood to have cooled.

Hudson-Odoi nears Chelsea exit

Callum Hudson-Odoi could be allowed to leave Chelsea for a cut-price fee in the summer.

When he returns from a loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, the winger will have just 12 months left on his contract in the capital.

Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Arnaut Danjuma.

Villarreal want only a £2.5m fee to let the winger leave on loan this month, with a £27m purchase clause.

Revelo claim the player’s agent is in England to find a new club for Danjuma, who has caught West Ham and Everton’s eye.

Declan Rice will be Arsenal’s top summer transfer target.

That is according to The Times, who say West Ham will have to sell the midfielder at the end of the season for around £80m as he enters the final year of his contract.

Manchester United and Chelsea are set to also bid for Rice.

Chelsea shock striker bid rejected

Chelsea failed in a shock bid to sign Michail Antonio.

The Guardian claim the Blues enquired for the striker after Armando Broja’s season ended early through injury.

West Ham rejected the offer, although Antonio could still leave on a permanent transfer to Wolves.

Expensive Osimhen could push for transfer

Victor Osimhen has been slapped with a £125m price tag by Napoli.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle are all monitoring the Nigerian hotshot, who has led the Partenopei to the top of Serie A.

The player has reportedly told his entourage to hold off on any transfer talk until June though, when he will seek a big pay rise at Napoli and ask to leave if denied.

Caicedo also on Chelsea shortlist

Chelsea will have to pay £75m for Moises Caicedo.

The midfielder is seen as a top target after they missed out on Enzo Fernandez earlier in the transfer window and they are willing to fork out £65m.

But CBS Sports claim the Seagulls want an even bigger fee after selling Marc Cucurella to the west Londoners last year.
