Red Wing has launched its limited-edition collaboration with Japanese lifestyle brand HUMAN MADE in the UK today, 28 January 2026.
The capsule, titled “The Future Is in the Past”, brings together Red Wing’s American workwear heritage with HUMAN MADE’s modern take on heritage Americana. The collection blends archival design with contemporary detail.
The collaboration focuses on two reworked Red Wing footwear styles, supported by a small apparel offering. Instead of redesigning existing icons, the brands chose to refine them. This approach preserves authenticity while adding modern function.
At the centre of the footwear range sits an updated 8-inch Classic Moc. The design combines elements of Red Wing’s #875 and #877 silhouettes. In addition, the boot features a medial zipper, HUMAN MADE embossing and Hawthorne Abilene leather.
Red Wing also updates the Pecos boot for the capsule. This version includes a heel zipper and HUMAN MADE detailing. However, it retains the brand’s signature wedge sole and strong workwear identity.
Alongside the footwear, the capsule includes a small selection of workwear-inspired apparel. The pieces are produced in Japan and designed to complement the boots. Together, they reflect the collaboration’s shared belief in looking to the past to inform the present.
The limited edition Red Wing and HUMAN MADE collection is available in the UK from today via Red Wing’s official website and selected Red Wing Heritage retailers.
