That is a definite boost for Slot, though he will likely be forced into a makeshift defence on Wednesday, with Giovanni Leoni and Conor Bradley still sidelined.

Liverpool’s grim run of form and mounting injuries have morale plummeting around the club, with pressure mounting on Arne Slot.
This, though, is a presentable opportunity for the Reds to get back to winning ways. Qarabag have struggled on the road this season, stunning Benfica on matchday one but only scoring once in their two matches since.
Their exciting attack may cause Liverpool’s ramshackle defence some headaches, but the Reds should have the requisite class to pull out a result.
