Hong Kong braces for Super Typhoon Ragasa as hundreds of flights are cancelled

Authorities in the financial hub were set to raise the typhoon signal to 8, its third highest, by 2.20pm (7.20am BST), prompting most businesses and transport services to shut down. About 700 flights have been disrupted with services from Heathrow among those cancelled.
