In 2027, Las Vegas, the global capital of entertainment, will play host to a festival unlike anything the world has ever seen.
Mega Extraterrestrial Fest V (MEF5) promises to redefine live entertainment with a bold, interplanetary vision that fuses music, technology, philosophy, and immersive storytelling into a cosmic-scale experience.
Billed as “the world’s first extraterrestrial brand,” MEF5 is a three-day, 11-hour-per-day immersive spectacle designed to transport more than 250,000 attendees into a multiverse of sound and sensation. The festival will combine global electronic music, original characters, cutting-edge tech, and cinematic narrative across five fictional universes that, according to its mythology, predate the Big Bang.
At the helm of this visionary endeavor is Lucas Pina, former head of SBS Entertainment and the Creator and CEO of 360 Worldwide Entertainment (360WWE). MEF5 is the result of over seven years of development, created for what Pina defines as the “SER -SER Generation”—a new, non-violent, purpose-driven global community connected by story, sound, and technology.
“It’s a cosmic fantasy genre that integrates philosophy, spirituality, science, and technology,” said Pina. “Through these four narratives, we aim to provide accessible insights from a non-violent perspective, fostering a new community that identifies as the SER -SER Generation.”
The musical lineup is equally otherworldly. MEF5 will introduce 25 original DJ characters—each part of the multiverse’s narrative—performing music composed by acclaimed, award-winning producers. Alongside them, 15 globally recognized guest DJs will be carefully selected for their alignment with the MEF5 ethos.
“Inspired by the cosmos and life beyond our planet, the festival is a spectacle that blends global electronic music with exclusive DJs, magical and immersive sounds, and an original narrative,” Pina added.
At the center of the festival’s innovation is SILVER—a proprietary, multisensory technology created by 360WWE. Standing for Sensorial, Immersion, Live, Virtual, Experience, and Reality, SILVER will drive the entire experience, integrating elements from stage design and content to gastronomy and augmented reality.
“SILVER is more than a technical tool, it’s a methodology that transforms every festival component into a living part of the multiverse,” said Pina. “It transcends traditional festivals, introducing a new cultural language for the emerging era.”
Bringing MEF5’s grand vision to life are some of the most accomplished figures in entertainment production. Jere Harris, a four-time Tony Award winner and the festival’s General Producer, leads the charge with decades of expertise. As the Founder and Executive Chairman of PRG (Production Resource Group), Harris is acclaimed for producing large-scale spectacles like EFX at MGM Las Vegas and Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.
Supporting him is James Lehner, also of PRG, who joins MEF5 as Co-General Producer. Lehner’s work on iconic immersive attractions such as Terminator 2: 3D and Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton underscores PRG’s pivotal role in realizing the festival’s ambitious scale.
MEF5’s production is a global collaboration, bringing together top-tier entertainment institutions including MGM Resorts, PRG, SBS Entertainment, Weta Workshop, and MIO Design NYC. The executive team also features industry leaders such as John Fragomeni (Global President of 360 Worldwide Entertainment), Grace Roeder Oppenheimer (President of Mergers and Acquisitions), and Luis Pascual (Chief Creator of the Scenic Experience).
